As someone with a long career in dance, I managed to injure just about every part of my body. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise when I finally get myself into yoga. Each injured part responded to the careful healing of Iyengar Yoga. My teaching now reflects my desire to help others who have chronic or acute injuries that prevent them from having the most happy and fulfilling lives.
I am a certified Jr 2 Iyengar Yoga teacher. I have over 2 decades of teaching experience in yoga in addition to many more years as a dancer and professor of dance at Colorado College. I studied with the Iyengar family in India as well as at intensives in the United States over many years.

My general classes are open to all students, regardless of experience, condition or age. When students have special issues (e.g. multiple sclerosis, immune disorders, severe injuries, healing from surgery, etc.) I am available for a limited number of private sessions.
