As a physical therapist and yoga therapist, I appreciate the holistic model offered by yoga, honoring body-mind-spirit, trusting the innate wisdom that arises when individuals are provided with education and gentle support, empowering them through healthy lifestyle choices and self care skills that result in a life well lived.
As a physical therapist and yoga therapist, I offer simple mind body practices of easy movements and attention to breathing, integrated with gentle hands on care, to encourage natural healing and a felt sense of safety and wellbeing. This approach develops powerful self awareness, resulting in clients making healthier lifestyle choices. This wellness based, coaching-type relationship supports the growth of clients skills without creating dependence on me as a “health care provider”.
Rather, clients appreciate a new found ability to SELF care in all circumstances, and their spirits soar as they begin to realize a way of life they thought they may have lost.
