I have been teaching Iyengar yoga for over thirty years and currently supervise a weekly therapeutics course at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Los Angeles. I co-developed the teacher training program for YogaWorks and worked collaboratively with the teaching staff to improve all facets of the training. I have authored two books on my parallel passion, nutrition. The Anti-Aging Plan and the Longevity Diet.
Our most precious wealth is health. By cultivating a relationship with the body, understanding alignment, stability, mobility, and an integration with the breath, we build the foundation for self-care. Stress reduction is essential for maintaining physical and mental equilibrium throughout life. These tools: alignment in postures, when to support the body and when to build stamina, when to rest and when to seek guidance are all a part of my work.

I have completed two year therapeutics teacher training programs and was on the faculty of a third one as well as having assisted in medical classes in Pune, India. I have presented at several International Association of Yoga Therapist conferences and was on the Advisory Council of IAYT for many years. I am currently on the Board of Directors of Iyengar Yoga Therapeutics.
