I am a
Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT)
About Me

Kim McNeil is a freckled, Montreal-born gal who discovered yoga after her competitive swimming career came to an end. She took her first yoga class in 1998. The rest, as they say, is history. With over 15 years of teaching experience, she specializes in therapeutic yoga for those living with rheumatic conditions, mental health conditions, cancer, and other types of chronic illness. Her multi-disciplinary approach to yoga helps her students improve their quality of life.

My approach to Yoga

From Kim:

“Yoga should focus not on the poses but on helping you build self-confidence and self-awareness. Yoga is a tool for your health toolbox that can help you maintain good physical, emotional, and mental health. Yoga will help you build body awareness, find balance (both physically and by counteracting the copious amounts of dark chocolate you ate last night), and make you be a more grounded, less-reactive person; anything else is just exercise. If you’ve tried yoga before and felt you didn’t fit in, the class let you down. Yoga is for everyone regardless of age, sex, race, religion, weight, and clothing type.

Go ahead, let yoga into your life,

x KM”
