About Me

Currently, I’m working toward my second Master’s as a
candidate of the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.

My approach to Yoga

I have developed an original and accessible teaching style guided by
my own diverse training which includes Trauma Sensitive Yoga with David
Emerson & Jenn Turner of the Trauma Center in Brookline, MA. I initiated
the yoga/health program at Open Door Medical Center for the prenatal, HIV and
diabetes populations and am a member of the Westchester County Department of
Community Mental Health Trauma Sub-Committee in New York State. I have also completed the
Girls Education and Mentoring Services’ Commercial Sexual Exploitation of
Children training and the AMBER Alert Training and Technical Assistance
Program’s Multi-Disciplinary Response to High Risk Victims.

The Yoga I teach is
Therapeutic / Individual
Adaptive / Accessible
Alignment Oriented
Gentle / Restorative
Kids / Teens
Meditative / Relaxation
